- The impact of the presentation, evidenced in the silent awe with which we left at the end. I thought the quality of the set, lighting and sound were superb. As an overseas visitor, I have cited this as the highlight of my recent visit to the USA.
- The audible sound with soundtrack - it was clear and understandable. Performers were excellent.
- Everything. The sets, the music, the live actors and animals, the accuracy and summarization of the last days of Christ.
- Great actors and actresses, Superb sound system! It went to the active stage location and was very well managed-no mic issues that were noticeable and we could understand what was being said.
- The new sound system is awesome, and we could hear everybody speaking very clearly.
- The audio, sound system, the lightening… and of course, the message of the Messiah, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Loved the music, the animals, and how they were able to do the difference scenes around the amphitheater.
- I loved the entire play, especially the way it uplifted my spirits afterwards.
- Absolutely amazing! The greatest we have seen!
- It was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had. I believe everyone should attend it at least once in their lifetime.
- The whole experience was a must see. We had an awesome time and will be coming back.
- The staff at all the attractions were superb and very nice. No one was rude and all were very accommodating. The Christian spirit was very evident and on display be every employee.
- The scale of the production, sound was at the perfect level, message was in line with the Bible!!
- It was a beautiful evening and great presentation.
- The play was profound and astonishing. My husband and I enjoyed it and the holy land tour. The lady working the gift shop in the bible museum was very helpful.
- I loved the performance and the actors were great. The sound effects were absolutely wonderful.
- Christina Mendhelson: “I don’t have a lot of words to describe what my family just experienced but I’ll just say it was all God’s blessing. Sight & Sound was sold out in Branson and we needed a day filler and wanted to stay in the Christian Family entertainment area. SDC was too expensive, Sight & Sound would’ve been too expensive as well honestly, but y’all…this place!!! It had been probably 30 years since I came here as a little girl with my grandparents. We’d always stop by on our way to Branson from New Orleans. What’s happening here is just— EPIC. It became the highlight of our annual Ozark trip and will be the centerpoint of our trips from here on. To start, most of the stuff (and there’s a lot) is free for families and is great for kiddos. The show is extremely reasonable in price compared to Branson. Not knocking because it’s a different type of show, but Sight & Sound was going to be $35/kid and this was $35/per adult and kids were even cheaper. The show was just enamoring to the kids and the entire thing is glorifying to the Lord. This place is on the move and our family is here for every step. The music, clarity, lighting, immersive set, the trees and the night sky… nothing is better than this place. We cannot wait to return to the Passion Play. Between Silver Dollar City, Sight & Sound, and the Passion Play you can’t go wrong. Just be sure to end at the Passion Play, it’s what your kids will remember the most. Thanks again for such a wonderful eternally uplifting trip for my family. So grateful we were able to come. Until next time! - the Mendhelsons”
- Amanda Henry: “They recently revamped the sound, lighting, and music. It is an amazing live performance of the last week in Jesus’ life.”
- Levi Winans: “This place is amazing. If you haven’t been lately then you need to see it again. We took my parents that hasn’t seen it in 30 years. It has grown and updated. Amazing experience.”
- Brandon Lyle (youth pastor from a local church in attendance on Saturday, May 3): “We were so moved by it. The score just expresses the emotion and spirit of each scene brilliantly. We’ve seen the show 5 times and this time my wife and I both cried. I just sat there after it was over and was like I have to go to talk to that composition team. I went down there and told them how much I appreciated what they’ve done and how impactful it was. We’ve already been telling people “if you’ve seen the passion play in the past…you haven’t seen the passion play.” I was kinda sad cause people were just walking by afterwards and I thought “these people are seeing this for the first time and have no idea how monumental this moment was.” Which I know you don’t do it for any awards but…it was like I was watching a Broadway show or Titanic only the message was the only message that actually matters. I could go on and on…I still tear up thinking about it.
- I mean…I’m a sucker for a good score at a movie or theater show anyway, but you understand how important it is to this message. And the voice acting was so good as well.”
- So real. Made me feel like I was right there in the play.
- Just so impressed with the realness of it. It was like I was in the Gospels!
- The content of the play and the overall performance. Well directed and the best story line of this world.
- A wonderful production of the passion play. The music, the actors, all the animals, everything together. You did the story of Jesus with such love and a true ministry.
- The new sound system was amazing.
- Beautiful portrayal of Jesus’ death and resurrection. - New music in show really enhanced the play. Very moving and memorable!
- It sent chills how realistic every scene was. Loved it!
- I have been there 3 times but the Music in the background was Great when I went last month.
- Everything. Change nothing. The evangelistic focus made a good presentation, great!
- Everything. Great depiction through the whole play. Great sound and lighting. It was wonderful.
- Scenery. Sound.
- The new sound system is so great
- More performers made it seem more real. Love the new speaker system! The buffet has been expanded and was very good!
- The music was beautiful, the scenes were so seemingly authentic, it was easy to hear and see everything.
- Every single thing
- Excellent performance and musical score. I may attend again if in Branson again.
- I truly loved the updates! Made it a greater experience! - My grandchildren stayed engaged and enjoyed the play! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to carrying the message of hope!
- Absolutely the best moving experience.. cried several times.. want to see it again!
- Edgar: “The new show is Amazing and updated with staging advancements - doesn’t look so dated!
- Haven't been here in many years. Remember our church youth group went here as a teen but this isn’t your mother’s passion play anymore! :-)
- Be sure to view the impressive Bible collection and sacred arts collection (both free)...seeing the Word of God in person in various translations and art from the 1400s and before is truly inspiring.
- I remember about 15 yrs ago this ministry was in a lot of debt- glad to see they aren’t just surviving but are thriving….”
- James Ingham: “This was FAR more than I expected. I expected a road side attraction. Instead, I found a well designed and organized historical depiction of Christ’s life. The play....left me speechless.”
- Always an epic play to watch. We have been there many times. The updates were amazing and lifted the play experience to a whole new level. Loved it as usual!
