Because people come from across the country to see performances of The Great Passion Play, every effort is made to complete the performance. Our experience has shown that even if there is inclement weather in the area during the daytime, the majority of the time, the weather clears up by the performance at night.
Our first consideration is the safety of all guests and employees. The Great Passion Play will be performed in the rain. The performance is cancelled only in the event of severe weather. If cancelled before the Play begins, your tickets will become rain checks which you can use at any performance during the next two (2) years. If officially cancelled by management during the first half of the performance, you can exchange your tickets for 1-use anytime tickets which can be used anytime during future performances.
No Refunds will be given at the time the event is cancelled.
Refunds are only available if you have purchased cancellation insurance.
If tickets are not purchased directly from The Great Passion Play, the customer must contact their ticket vendor, church, group leader, or organization leader.
Refunds are not given at the Ticket Office.
You may also add cancellation/weather insurance to your tickets for an additional charge of $5 per ticket. Cancellation/Weather insurance entitles the patron to a refund of the ticket price, regardless of when a performance is cancelled. With Cancellation/Weather insurance, you also have the option to reschedule to another performance date.
