Our 3 Museums at the Passion Play feature numerous artifacts, art, and antiquities.
With pieces dating back to the ninth century, the Sacred Arts Museum features a diverse mix of artistic mediums portraying Christ and the Christian life. In fact, there are over 1,000 works of art in 64 different forms, making it one of the most expansive collections of Christ-centered art.
With over 6,000 Bibles in 625 languages and dialects, along with a large collection of parchments, the Bible Museum is one of most impressive of its kind. Among the most important artifacts include: an original 1611 King James Bible, a page of the Gutenberg Bible, an 1898 Bible signed by all of the original Gideons (the only one of its kind), the first Cherokee Bible, and numerous others.
The History Museum provides a brief snapshot of the history of creation and mankind and how the Bible fits into that as well as providing evidences (apologetics) for God's existence as well as why Christian theism and the Bible provide the most logical and plausible worldview of existence. The History Museum is located in the bottom level of the Jerusalem Chapel.
