The Passion Play set was not necessarily built in 1968 to last for the 55-plus years that it now has. Everything we are building now is built to last. In October 2015, we had a major storm that took down a huge portion of the "West Wall" of Jerusalem. Thankfully, insurance was able to kick in and help us rebuild the set.
