The Gold Dome with cross on top is near the Eastern gate of the Old City of Jerusalem is what we are replicating with our renovation of our Chapel building.
Pictured is the church of St. John the Baptist in Jerusalem, a place, Randall Christy and Dr. Crossland have been to. It was part of the original Church of the Holy Sepulchre complex in 336AD.
In the picture, you can see the Old City Eastern Gate behind it...just like ours is at the Passion Play.
We are NOT attempting to replicate the Islamic Dome of the Rock.
