Shared-Use and Mountain-Bike Optimized Trails
Experience the beauty of the Ozark Mountains while exploring the grounds of The Great Passion Play. These trails are built specifically with mountain biking in mind and are therefore graded on mountain biking difficulty. GREEN=Beginner BLUE=Intermediate BLACK=Expert We currently have over 15 miles of mountain biking trails. Please review these trail descriptions before riding. It is important to understand your skill level before riding new trail. Do not ride an intermediate or expert trail if you are new to mountain biking! RIDE IN YOUR SKILL LEVEL! These trails are free to ride or hike with donations gratefully accepted. Enjoy! |
1. Genesis (Green, Single Direction)
Genesis is our 4.3 mile green loop and our first completed trail of the system. This trail is perfect for beginner mountain bikers and great for trail runners. You will be pleasantly surprised by the speed and flow. It also takes you right past the feet of our Christ of the Ozarks statue! |
2. Exodus (Green, Multi-Directional)
Not ready to take on the full Genesis loop? Exodus can be used to "shortcut" the loop into a more desirable distance for beginners. However, Exodus is multi-directional, so it can also be used to lengthen the loop by repeating the lower section of Genesis. Use Exodus to create the perfect ride for you and get you where you need to go! |
3. Temptation (Blue, Multi-Direction)
Temptation is another intermediate trail that provides a blue alternative to connect Holy Roller or Genesis to Good Samaritan. This trail is a quick and fun detour that a neat optional rock feature in the middle. Please DO NOT enter trail if you are not positive that you are at an intermediate skill level. While we do our best to build safe fun features, it is important to know your limits. If you are a beginner, please stick to the green trail. |
4. Holy Roller (Blue, Single Direction)
Holy Roller was our first intermediate trail to open and is still the favorite blue trail of the system. It is full of fun flowy rollers, jumps, drops, and berms! Don't worry, jumps and drops are only optional on this trail. You can still enjoy the fast berms and flow without testing your limits! Please DO NOT enter trail if you are not positive that you are at an intermediate skill level. While we do our best to build safe fun features, it is important to know your limits. If you are a beginner, please stick to the green trail. |
5. Good Samaritan (Blue, Multi-Direction)
This trail has the best of both worlds. When descending, it is our longest downhill on property so far and maintains great speed and flow. When ascending, it provides a gentle and enjoyable climb out of "the Lagoon." This trail is great for riders that are just starting to test the waters of intermediate trail. It has small safe features that are great for building your skill level. HOWEVER, do not test your limits when alone! Be smart and safe when learning and expanding your skill level. While we do our best to build safe fun features, it is important to know your limits. If you are a beginner, please stick to the green trail. |
6. Atonement (Black, Single Direction)
Atonement was our first expert level gravity trail. Features fast flow, technical rock gardens, and huge jumps. After Atonement, you will reach a short blue connector trail called Forgiveness that will lead you to an access road to take you back to the top or continue on to more difficult trails. The rest of forgiveness will soon be open (multidirectional) and will take you to the bottom of Good Samaritan and right near an entrance for Genesis. Please DO NOT enter trail if you are not positive that you are at an expert skill level. While we do our best to build safe fun features, it is important to know your limits. If you are a beginner, please stick to the green trail. |
7. Ascension (Black, Multi-Direction)
To get to Ascension, you need to ride down Atonement and Forgiveness first. Ascension is a multi-direction trail that is fun and technical to ride either way. When riding up (from the bottom of forgiveness) this trail will take you to the top of Deliverance.
Please DO NOT enter trail if you are not positive that you are at an expert skill level. While we do our best to build safe fun features, it is important to know your limits. If you are a beginner, please stick to the green trail.

8. Deliverance (Black, Single Direction)
To get to Deliverance, you need to ride down Atonement and Forgiveness, then up Ascension. Not for the faint of heart. This is the one of the most difficult trails in Northwest Arkansas. It begins with some fast flow and a large road gap and continues into rock gardens (or as we call them boulder farms). Heaven's Gate (the rock tunnel) is near the bottom of this trail.
