Carol Cash is from Houston, Texas, known for its International Chili Cook-Off since 1967. This, however, didn’t prevent Carol from moving to Arkansas in 2013 to work at the Great Passion Play, a non-profit ministry. “When I visited in the 90’s with my family,” Carol recalls, “I knew I wanted to work there. I loved the uncompromising message of the Play and what it stood for. I felt the Lord leading me to be a part of that.” She was grateful for the bus ministry that was available to pick her up for church since her family wasn’t going at the time, but credits no one except the Holy Spirit, who drew her to her faith in Jesus at the age of 13. Working at the Bible Museum is a great fit for Carol, “It gives me opportunities to share my story and pray with people.” She sees many visitors who have come back year after year and some, every couple of months. Her two favorite people at the Play are Kent Butler and Joe Smith, “The light of the Lord shines through them.” Carol considers the staff and volunteers at the Great Passion Play a second family to her. And we all here at the Passion Play certainly feel the same way about Carol. |
